The short version
FitCalc does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. All calculations run locally in your browser. The only third party that may set cookies on your device is our advertising partner, Google AdSense, described below.
Information we collect
None. FitCalc is a static website: every calculator performs its math in your browser using JavaScript, and the numbers you enter are never sent to us or anywhere else. We have no user accounts, no database, no newsletter and no contact-form server.
Cookies and third-party advertising
FitCalc displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site:
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices or optout.networkadvertising.org.
Third-party ad servers or ad networks may also use technologies like cookies, JavaScript or web beacons in the ads they display on this site, and may automatically receive your IP address when this happens. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising and to personalize the advertising content you see. FitCalc has no access to or control over these third-party cookies.
Log files and analytics
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type and timestamps for security and delivery purposes. We do not run any first-party analytics scripts and do not build profiles of visitors.
Children's privacy
FitCalc is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Because we collect no personal data at all, no children's data can reach us.
