How to use the Pallet Box Count Calculator

Enter the height available for boxes after subtracting the pallet itself. Box rotation is limited to the horizontal footprint; boxes remain upright.

The calculation

Boxes = best uniform boxes per layer × floor(allowed stack height/box height)

Worked example

A 120×100 cm footprint holds nine aligned 40×30 cm boxes per layer and 36 boxes in four 25 cm layers.

Assumptions and limits

Not a mixed-layout packing optimizer or load-safety assessment. Weight limits, compression strength, overhang, wrapping and stability are excluded.
